Candle In The Wind

Yesterday we lost another fabulous person to cancer. It breaks my heart to know we will never again see the talents of Squinternet the owner of Donna Flora. Not only it is heart breaking from a blogger of her beautiful designs but she was truly a sweet person. in some ways it feels cheap to just say she was a nice person because lets face it when someone passes they always say how nice they were. If you didn’t know her you could just look to see how so many designers and everyday slers clamored over each other to support her in anyway we knew how with the Love Donna Flora event. Its really a testament to her as a person how much we all gave whether it was time or money or even our artistic thoughts. I know the first time I ever saw a Donna Flora item was during the first Vintage Fair that CHIC Management put together. I was in awe of the beauty of her jewels and the utter beauty of her clothing. It saddens me I didn’t know her very well as some of you were lucky to have been friends with her but the few interactions I ever had she was very poised and graceful. I hope we can all come together to mourn this loss and to be closer as a community. If you would like to post your story of Squinternet please feel free to post in the comments ❤df_0031

I feel like I need to explain why I picked the ladder at the sim but really its sorta simple. To me the never ending ladder is supposed to signify the journey to heaven. it just seemed fitting to me.

  1. What a beautiful testament Sookie! I love the never-ending ladder. May “Squinternet” rest in peace and may all who were blessed in knowing her, find comfort. Blessings xoxoxoxo
